As we Jam we keep learning, and part of learning means trying new things. Experienced Jammers will have noticed some changes at the last few Jams; like a new upload platform, website and back-office structure, and the new Deep Jam for experienced Jammers. The next Global Jams will continue along this path of learning and experimenting as we reach for a wider audience. Here are some dates for your calendar!
After some quiet years, the Global Sustainability Jam has been resting since 2017. But will it rest for ever? We want your help to find out. So in the first weekend of August 2019 we will hold our first “virtual” JamJam with a clear focus on the #GSusJam. This will not be a sustainability jam; it will be an online event when we explore ways to make the #GSusJam more meaningful. In 2019, #GGovJam will switch to a festival format over a whole week. Within that week, every local Jam can choose their own continuous 48 hour slot – perhaps on a weekend, on weekdays, or a combination of the two. This will bring a few other changes around the Secret Theme and more, so we look forward to an exciting new experience.
